Spring Fed Records is honored to carry on the legacy of Steve Davis' efforts to document traditional musicians on his Davis Unlimited record label. Originally released throughout the mid 1970s, the Davis Unlimited label in the 1970s  showcased many outstanding regional fiddlers, string bands and bluegrass bands from Tennessee and the throughout the mid south. The Spring Fed Records reissues feature the original LP cover art and liner notes for your enjoyment. In addition, all the Davis Unlimited recordings have been carefully remastered by Martin Fisher to guarantee the highest quality sound. In some cases, we're able to add previously unreleased cuts from the collections of the Center for Popular Music. We're generally able to reissue one or two titles per semester so stay tuned for updates about new releases.
